Brunch and Puppets
This morning, we checked out of our hotel and had a nice brunch before heading to Sue’s. The kids were excited to see us and tell us all about their sleepover. At Sue’s, I finished putting together the sheep puppets we’d been working on. The kids watched Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure and entertained us all before our family dinner together. Sue and Marci volunteered to have a sleepover with the kids so Brandon and I could have a night away for our anniversary! We let her wear the costume for her party, since it’s thematic. 😉 We had a beautiful cake from the Cupcake Shoppe again, hand-painted by our favorite designer, featuring...

Today we had an opportunity to be in the Raleigh Christmas parade, riding on the Goddard School float! It was a cold one, and we bundled up as best we could, wearing lots of layers. We were towards the back of the parade, and during the lineup we were directly in front of Santa Claus. The kids got to meet him, which was a pretty special treat. Stormy came by as well, also a pretty special treat. Ms. Robin, and Mr. Malay and Mrs. Vineeta were on hand and also helped to keep the kids happy....
