Snow Day!
Well, we may have pooh-poohed the late-arriving snow yesterday, but it’s definitely here today! School was cancelled, so we all stayed home together. The kids were impatient to go and play in the snow, so I let them play with a bowl of it from the porch during breakfast. Once we were all bundled up, we headed outside! Grandpa Roger arrived late last night, after the kids were already in bed, so the kids were excited to wake up this morning to see him! We all made good use of the new coffeemaker, with Brandon telling Roger our tale of woe about the old one. Roger volunteered to take a look at the old one, and within minutes, had it going again! Turns out, it just needed a bit of descaling. Cool! Now we can use the little one when we travel, like we did originally. The kids had a great time showing...

Happy Thanksgiving! It certainly was for me–I got to take it easy, since we were invited to spend Thanksgiving at Steve and Sue’s house this year. Don’t get me wrong, I really do enjoy making the whole spread, but I’m the first to admit it was a lot easier when the kids were smaller (or not here yet!)
