We’re happy to announce a new feature to our family blog. Now, along with subscribing via Twitter, those of you not on Twitter can now subscribe via Email!
It’s very simple, on any page where we have a post, look to the bottom of the right-hand column and enter your email address to subscribe to this blog and receive notifications of new posts by email. Press the Subscribe button, then check your email.
Depending on your setup, you may need to allow “donotreply@wordpress.com” through your filters. We also found for Gmail users that the email can be classified as “Bulk” and you may not see it. If you don’t see it quickly, search for email from this address. The first email you get is a confirmation from “The Perkins Family <donotreply@wordpress.com>”, to your email address, with the subject “[Subscribe] Posts on The Perkins Family – please confirm“.
After following the instructions in the confirmation email, you’ll receive a “Confirmed Subscription” email from “The Perkins Family <donotreply@wordpress.com>”, to your email address, with the subject “[Subscribe] Confirmed Subscription to Posts on The Perkins Family“.
Once subscribed, you’ll get notifications of new posts, including the post body, every time a new blog entry is made. The emails will come from “The Perkins Family <donotreply@wordpress.com>”, to your email address, with the subject “[New post] Post Title“.
