Any day you can go to a hockey game it’s a good day, but the result may not have been exactly as we would have liked. Even though the Carolina Hurricanes put up 45 shots (about 50% more than average) and the San Jose Sharks only had 19 shots on goal (about 33% less than average), the ‘Canes were shut-out in a 2-0 loss at home. On a positive note, a gentleman that sits near us got one of the free T-shirts from Stormy (the Ice Hog mascot). He had already caught a few in his time, and knew that Brian had been wanting one for a while. So, he very kindly presented Brian with his first intermission T-shirt! He is quite proud of it, even if he didn’t catch it himself!
