The annual ‘Canes Alumni Game came around right before our trip to the beach. Kendall, Brian, and myself went as Alison was wanting to get things finished up around the house before we left. And I know from experience, one can be much more productive without the kids under foot sometimes!
It was another fun game that was less about the score, and more about the fun, especially the narration by the TV play-by-play man, John Forslund. He gets to really let his hair down and make it fun for everyone, especially in the on-ice interviews with the players. We spotted the new GM, and former player, Ron Francis taking in the game from the stands. The kids had a great time watching and they thought it was wonderful that Stormy gave them some extra attention on the other side of the glass at the end of the game.
