July 4th!
Happy July 4th! We sure had a blast. It was nice getting a day off mid-week. We took it easy this morning and played Legos, of course! We built a new “farmer’s market” type of set, and nearly finished following all of the “constructions”, as Brian calls them! But, with a little sister and Brian’s big ideas, we usually go off the structured path pretty quickly. 🙂 Later, we played outside, with the kids drawing with chalk and making the toy garage into a...

Today was pretty legendary, in terms of how busy Brian was! It started off with a trip to Lowe’s for more building fun. He built a cool Monsters University-themed trunk and decorated it with stickers. Then, home for a bit, and then Brian and Brandon went back out for skating lessons. He’s working hard and making progress! Kendall and I had a pretty laid-back morning by comparison. (I just love those “Good Morning Mommy” PJs! They always make me smile.) In the...

What an awesome Dad he is. 🙂 Brian was back at skating lessons this afternoon while I hung out with Kendall. Brian forgot to bring his jacket, but luckily, was able to get a cool sweater there! Kendall managed to snag Brian’s “Nyan Cat” plush and just loved playing the music! When...

As it turned out, we got there so late in the day, we didn’t have a lot of time. With just over an hour until closing time, we would have to take our tour Casa Bonita-style..! But, we decided to go ahead and become members, and vowed to come back really soon! The first thing the kids really got into was the...
