Things are winding down post-funeral, and both kids had activities today, so we fit those in, to give the kids a bit of normalcy. Lego club for Brian, brunch and silliness and goodbyes to our cousins over at Sue’s, and a party for Kendall. Kendall is missing her former teacher, Ms. Danielle, quite a bit. We talked about it, and Kendall made her a very pretty picture, and today brought it in to give to her! Advent Calendar Fun
It’s December 1st, so that means the kids get to start their advent calendars! We were indecisive (read: easily swayed) and ended up with three different Lego Advent calendars: Lego City, Lego Star Wars, and Lego Friends! Another month, another LEGO Club meeting! However, this is the last one of the year as they take a break in November and December. So, we had to make this a good one, and Brian certainly did. The theme revolved around creating a rescue craft. He basically did two full designs and the creativity kept coming at home. We also saw some great Halloween and Thanksgiving mini-sets that we had to get. Brian finished off by building a racer to go down the ramp track at the front of the store....
