Cake Pickup! Hockey! More caterpillar fun!
Today was a busy one! We checked on our caterpillars again this morning at Goddard–still munching, if maybe a bit slower. We watched a few of them decide they are full, and drop off of the leaves, quickly burrowing under the pine straw. Tonight was the Hurricanes Kids’ Club party at PNC Arena! This was a pretty special event for Brian. We got to tour all around some of the behind-the-scenes areas at the stadium, including the locker room. Brian won an autographed puck in the raffle, and he collected autographs from some of his favorite players, and Stormy. But most importantly, he got to skate on the very ice where the ‘Canes play. The 16th annual Skate with the Canes fundraiser was held tonight. It was a sell-out and this year’s event raised just under $40,000 for the Kids ‘N Community Foundation.
