Okay, we are all completely, totally, and utterly over the snow. I’m hoping we’re done with it for the year. Today we mostly spent the day at home, just playing with the kids. Kendall reclaimed Chili Bean for herself today–she really likes him! I tried giving her pigtails–she’s so cute with them! The snow day train just keeps rolling! It’s nasty out there. This round of snow arrived so hard and fast, that everyone who waited to leave work until the snow actually started yesterday got stuck in traffic for hours. The resulting snarls backed up major roads for 5 hours or more, and emergency vehicles even had trouble getting to all the beached cars and accidents. Today’s the 100th day of school! A little later than expected due to all the snow, but we got here! I don’t remember the 100th day being a big deal when I was a kid, but they use it as a teaching opportunity now. The kids have a snack that’s 10 pieces each of 10 different kinds of food, they could (optionally) dress like they are 100 years old, and the kids were asked to bring in 100 of a particular item.
