Kendall’s 2-year Checkup
Today was Kendall’s 2-year checkup! She enjoyed seeing the turtles and fish at the doctor’s office, and was reasonably happy to look at the books while we waited. She’s the picture of health, of course, and smart as can be–perfect spot on the growth chart, and the doc checked off all the things she should be doing by now and more. Today was one of those rare Saturdays where we didn’t have too many things to do–only three things on the calendar! Brian had swimming, followed by Lowe’s Build and Grow (he made a Halloween-themed Candy Stacker game). Then, skating in the afternoon, and a visit to the library. Tonight was a pretty special Friday night for everyone! We started off with Brandon picking up the kids and bringing them to meet me at Red Hat Tower. They were so cute when I found them playing in the lobby, both in their hockey t-shirts! Best sight in the world, after a tough day at the office. It was a special night for Brian, with his skating lessons rescheduled for after school today, followed by a hockey night with Daddy! I picked up some Halloween craft supplies on the way home from work, and had a girls’ night with Kendall. I hung up some felt banners to surprise Brian, and Kendall thought I was pretty silly, climbing up to hang them on the blinds. Also: Kendall’s class made a handprint tree in fall colors, so cute!
