Visiting the Duck Park
Today we decided to head out to Shelley Lake to feed the ducks! It had been awhile, and we had a ton of bread heels to distribute. It started feeling like fall today, so Kendall wore her first long sleeves of the year and her sparkly red corduroy pants. I’d been waiting months for her to be able to wear this shirt! It’s an adorable parody of the classic AC/DC logo, but it says AB/CD instead, to fit in with the preschool set. 😉 It makes me chuckle! It attracted a lot of...

Today we were happy to unveil a project we’d been working on for Brian–this Lego table! I’d had this crazy idea, wouldn’t be cool if, we could make an interchangeable tabletop for the train table, that was entirely covered in Lego baseplates. We collaborated with Brian to come up with...
Read MoreTooth #2!
Not even two weeks after the first one, Brian lost his second tooth today! Now he’s missing both of his top front teeth. Poor kid, I’m sure he’s going to be in for a ton of “All I Want For Christmas” jokes. 😉 So that he’ll know what it’s about, I showed him a few videos on YouTube of the song. This one didn’t come out quite as easily as the first, but he was really ready for it to go, saying “Look, Mom, I can spin it all the way...

But it’s just too cute, and you can’t really see it in her portraits. So, since we had a little time after school today, I let Kendall play in the sandbox while I snapped a bunch of photos. Let’s enjoy the last of summer however we can! Even if that means flinging sand on...
