TIE Fighters and Ice Cream
Today, we finished putting together our TIE fighter (and TIE advanced!) model kits. Brian wants to have the set of ships from the famous trench scene from Star Wars hanging from his ceiling. This group of three will be a good start. 🙂 Kendall is working on using an open cup–she’s doing pretty well with it! Brian took pictures of posters he likes again–I’m sharing them here since they are just so “him”. This afternoon we went out for ice cream at Fresh....

Today we were back at Root for a partial day to find out Brian’s teacher assignment and have a little orientation to his new classroom! When we arrived we were surprised to see a huge crowd of parents and kids crowded around the front door of the school–then, someone appeared and posted the assignment list! From the excitement, you’d think it was a list of who was starring in a Broadway play! Brian and I held back to avoid getting trampled (really!) and then made our way...

Brian was pretty excited to have his new backpack (yes, it’s the same as his old backpack!) We took Kendall to Goddard first, and then went to Root. Brian was happy to be back at Root, and was super excited to see Ms. Misty right out front. Then, we made our way down the hall to the Kindergarten classes. We liked all...

I was getting Brian’s school supplies ready for tomorrow, and included a few surprises for him with his new backpack–a new lunchbox, a pencil case, and some fun pencils and erasers. I can’t believe he’s starting Kindergarten tomorrow! Kendall got a small surprise too, a small Hello Kitty purse. Brian made a cool sticker picture after school–it is now decorating the fridge....
