July Beach Trip, day 3: July 4th!
Like many mornings after a hurricane, today started out bright and clear! Brian wanted to go outside early, since he was worried about a moth that had been hanging out on the porch yesterday. He didn’t know if it had made it through the storm or not. We were amazed to see that it was alive and hanging tough (literally!) under the porch railing. Today was another fun-filled day at the beach! The kids were up bright and early as usual, and started the day by playing with Legos in their jammies. Today we started our summer beach trip! We hit up the Bojangles on the way down, and discovered they had special BoBerry biscuits! For the 4th of July they have patriotic red “strawberry” and blue “blueberry” bits to go along with the white icing. Awesome. We’re on vacation this week, and before we head to the beach, we’ve got a few days to fill. Today we took the kids out to Marbles!
