Mother’s Day
For Mother’s Day, Brandon and the kids made sure I had a lovely day! They woke me up to my first gift of blueberry pancakes and maple syrup. Brian helped get breakfast ready. Kendall was wearing her “Good Morning Mommy” PJs. Later, the kids helped Brandon refresh the sandbox by replacing all the old sand with fresh play sand. May the 4th be with you! It’s Star Wars day, but Brian felt like playing a different game today–Just Dance 4! Brian learned about this series of games at school. At the end of the day when lessons are done and the kids need to get some energy out, the teachers sometimes show YouTube video captures of the game, and the kids get to dance along. Brian loves music, and dancing to this game seemed to be such a favorite activity for him, I picked up a copy for us to play at home!...

Today I let Brandon sleep late, which meant I had the kiddos to myself for a few hours this morning. We had breakfast and then played together–which of course means lots of Lego Duplo time! Today was the Art Show at Goddard! Unfortunately, I was unable to attend, being stuck in a certification class this week. 🙁 Brandon was able to go, however, and managed to snap a few pictures! Instead of making a lot of themed artwork, this year Brian’s class made storyboard art, where they made up pictures and a story to go with it.
