Sunday at Lake Lynn
Today we took a trip out to Lake Lynn park, a perennial favorite! It’s been awhile since we’ve visited our animal friends, and we had a ton of bread heels to give them. There were a lot of visiting seagulls, who we don’t always see here.. But today they were out in full force. Today is Pajama Day at Goddard, so Kendall is wearing her adorable Valentine PJs (even though it was last week, these are too cute to put away!) Kendall has been sleepy today! This morning she was groggy, but still so cute. She even let me put a bow in her hair. Tonight, she was sleepy after her bath too–but the kind where she gets a burst of energy and wants to play with everything! We had to skip town so soon after Valentine’s day to go to the Lego Fest, I didn’t get to post about all of our Valentine’s Day crafts. 🙂 Brian made this lovely heart string for us–there’s one for each member of the family, and one for Everybody! Nana helped him string them up while Brandon and I were out seeing Spamalot, and they made a lovely and festive decoration! I love how each heart is different, and how he personalized them with our names on the back....

Whew! Okay, where to begin.. So, this weekend was the Lego Kids Fest up in Richmond, VA. When the Fest was last in Raleigh, Brian was still pretty new to the Lego scene, and Kendall was still on the inside!
