Colorado Trip! Day 2
We looked at the forecast for the week in the greater southern Colorado region to find the best weather day to do an all day excursion. And today is that day. After an extra-long day getting here, we made it to our first full day in Colorado! Our “altitude adjustment day” consisted of a few small trips in and around Colorado Springs. Today was Brian’s last day of first grade! The class celebrated with a pajama party, and the kids got to go to school in their PJs and bring a stuffed animal friend. Today we enjoyed playing Lego Creationary. It’s a game where you draw cards, and have to build something that approximates what’s on your card. The other players have to guess what it is. Some of those cards are really challenging!
