Today we are starting our summer vacation in earnest! Brian had a birthday party for his friend Hudson at United Skates of America this afternoon, and following that, we started our trek out to the mountains for Day Out with Thomas at Tweetsie Railroad tomorrow. Well, he did it! Brian has finished his first whole year as an elementary schooler, and completed Kindergarten today with flying colors. It’s a little bittersweet, of course, but new fun and adventures await in first grade–not to mention the summer filled with many different camp experiences!
