Today was my mom’s retirement party at Zebulon Elementary! We couldn’t miss this occasion, so we left work early, picked up the kids, and headed out to Z-town. For once, we weren’t late!! Today we finally did something we’ve been meaning to do for years–take the kids to the Morehead Planetarium in Chapel Hill! Today was the long-awaited Fun in the Sun event at Root! Brian was pretty excited about getting to go to school in his swimsuit, knowing there will be a lot of fun, messy, and wet activities today!
