Lego Club, Mermaid

At Lego Club this morning, Brian made a fun habitat for a blue whale!  He was able to answer some trivia questions, too, thanks to the IMAX movie he’d just seen at Marbles camp that about whales.  This afternoon, Kendall started working on her Mermaid excavation kit.   Can’t wait to see what it looks like, once she gets it free of the blue plaster brick it came in!  The resulting dust sure is making a mess of the...

Pluto! Etch-A-Sketch! Sailor Moon!

Tuesday: AM: Soda Bottle Science 7-8s made colorful density columns today, illustrating that liquids of different densities remain separate when combined. They also conducted a nano filtration experiment wherein colored water was filtered to be clean. PM: Bakery Basics Chefs learned that there are many ways to make some of the bakery’s basic recipes. Sunday Dinner Watermelon, Grilling
