Farm to Table Dinner
Just another manic Monday! But at least I didn’t have to cook today. 🙂 We took the kids out to a nice “Farm to Table” dinner at Relish put on by The Produce Box. It featured all locally grown and produced foods and was quite delicious. We like supporting our local farmers, and our CSA program makes it easy. Brian’s graduation from Goddard School was this evening, and wow.. I’m so verklempt! It was a really sweet ceremony. It started off with opening words from the director, and a sweet slideshow featuring a lot of the activities the kids have done over the school year. The kids performed a number of songs, featuring things they’ve learned at Goddard, including Spanish, Chinese, and American Sign Language! We were all so impressed with our little ones’ accomplishments....

Today was Brian’s third and final Fly-Up Day at his Root Preschool class! After being transformed to a Big Kid and then a Super Big Kid in previous years, finally, Ms. Sarah Catherine used her magic wand to transform Brian into a Kindergartener! Today was the Art Show at Goddard! Unfortunately, I was unable to attend, being stuck in a certification class this week. 🙁 Brandon was able to go, however, and managed to snap a few pictures! Instead of making a lot of themed artwork, this year Brian’s class made storyboard art, where they made up pictures and a story to go with it. Today was a special day in the First Steps classroom, since us parents were invited to come in and share a picnic lunch with the little ones!
