Kendall Entertains
Today I was still horribly sick, but Kendall made sure to entertain me, even when I couldn’t get out of bed. She is so cute! She sang songs along with her puppy friends, and we shared a snack of strawberry Pocky, while watching My Little Pony. My airport present to her was a small plushie Rainbow Dash–even though she hadn’t seen the show before! It was just the cutest thing I saw in the store. Today was my big day–I did my presentation, and even being sick, with no sleep, I managed it! Everyone said I did really well, and I was relieved to be done. The kids had sent me a really sweet “good luck” video! I did my second panel in the afternoon, part of a Q&A with other customers, and that also went well. Today was a busy day! We started off with some yummy Star Wars pancakes, and then headed off to the Museum of Life+Science in Durham for the Pumpkin Patch Express! They even had a zip-line which was a huge hit with the kids! Earlier in the day we just had fun with toys and stuffed animals! We got a bunch of...

Tonight was one of our girls’ nights, and Kendall and I made the most of it! She was looking sort of bored when I got to her classroom, but she popped up off that sofa and ran to me, squealing “Momeeeeeeeeeee!” She showed me some of her dance moves, too. At home, we did some painting with watercolors, while the boys enjoyed their time at the IcePlex....
