Kendall’s Box of Books
Kendall loves a box of books! Today, she wanted to share her prized box of Tangled books with her class. We asked her teachers if that was okay, and they agreed! They read them to the class. Kendall was so proud. Also included, video of Brian singing in the car, and pics of the kids playing after school (Brian with his Star Wars toys, and Kendall with the new-to-her ocean scene...
Read MoreAva’s 4th Birthday Party
Today was another super-packed Saturday! We started off the morning with a Build and Grow session for Brian, where he made a cool fire truck. I stayed home with Kendall, who continued to be interested in painting today. We also did a lot of puzzles! When Brian got home, he did some painting and puzzles, too! But not for too long, because we had a party to get to! Our cousin Ava’s 4th birthday party was today, and we knew it was going to be a Frozen party with a special guest! It...
Read MorePirate Ship
It’s a Teacher Workday on the Wake County Public School traditional calendar, so Brian and I hung out today while Alison and Kendall were at work and school, respectively. While breaking-down boxes, Brian spied this one that he immediately thought should be made into a pirate ship! So,...
Read MoreCutie Kendall, Brian’s Hockey
It’s Friday night, and that means Kendall and I have some girl time while the boys are out at Brian’s learn-to-play hockey class! Today she was surprised because we got a box from Gymboree, with a much softer Viking costume helmet for Brian (that I think he has a chance of actually wearing for more than 5 minutes on Halloween) and a Viking-helmet-like winter hat (just because it’s funny). Brian let her borrow Crocky this evening, and she seemed very happy about that. Also...
Read MoreBuilding, and Build-A-Bear, Round 2!
This morning, Brian was playing with Commander Fluffy, and dressed him up in the Carolina Hurricanes hockey outfit that Nana gave him as a birthday present! Funny, because we planned on going back to Build-A-Bear today! After Brian’s trip to Lowes for another Build-and-Grow session, that is. Today he built a cool pair of binoculars! They actually kind of work, too. 😉 I played with Kendall until the boys returned, then we were off to Build-a-Bear! Brian got to stuff his Toothless,...
