Mother’s Day School Events
Both of the kids’ schools had events to celebrate Mother’s Day today! I’m not always able to make it to daytime events, but this year, I was able to! Brian’s class invited us moms to come by in the morning to receive our special gifts–a clay pendant, and a beautiful artwork of flowers in a vase! I got my RHCA swag today! A glass plaque, laptop skin, and a shirt, custom-embroidered with my certification number. I’m happy to get these goodies, of course! However I’m a little ambivalent about the shirt. As a woman in technology, it always irks me when companies don’t offer ladies’ shirts.
