Brian was really rocking out to one of his current favorite songs, “Sandstorm“, in the car today. The song is older than him, but, he loves it! My first memory of this song is from what passed for my bachelorette party. Just a fun Sunday at home..! Today the kids used all the broken crayons to melt down into rainbow crayon cupcakes. They had fun choosing their color combos, although we learned that crayon quality varies widely, which affects the quality of the blend. The majority of the broken crayons were cheap restaurant crayons, and yeah, they are mostly just wax, not a lot of pigment. Today Brian’s big birthday present arrived–the newly-released Disney Infinity 3.0! Nana went in with Brandon and me to get Brian the big set that included a lot of Star Wars characters, and we picked up all the rest of them individually.
