Saturday Fun
Today I let Brandon sleep late, which meant I had the kiddos to myself for a few hours this morning. We had breakfast and then played together–which of course means lots of Lego Duplo time! Today was the Art Show at Goddard! Unfortunately, I was unable to attend, being stuck in a certification class this week. 🙁 Brandon was able to go, however, and managed to snap a few pictures! Instead of making a lot of themed artwork, this year Brian’s class made storyboard art, where they made up pictures and a story to go with it. We had a lazy day, playing at home today! We all slept late, and forgot to do some things we had planned to do.. Instead, we stayed in our pajamas far too long, and just played on the floor with the kids. One of the things we did was create a gigantic Lego Duplo zoo! Today was a special day for us at Goddard School–Brandon and I got to be Mystery Readers for Brian’s class! Different parents took turns reading some of their child’s favorites for the class this week. Brian was pretty surprised when it was our turn!
