Beach Trip! Saturday
Today was a super busy one! We started off bright and early at Brian’s reading class. Brian is so enthusiastic about participating and he really enjoys all the books! Next up, building fun at another Lowe’s Build and Grow session. Brian made a cool Toy Story themed race car. Today we saw some of our Goddard friends again, when we went to see a baseball game! This was a special family game at the Durham Bulls, sponsored by the Goddard School. The kids got into the spirit early, wearing baseball caps as we were getting ready to go. Once we arrived, we were happy to see that Brian’s friend Selah and her dad were in attendance, and sitting near us. Mr. Malay gave Brian and Selah new Durham Bulls hats, and Ms. Vineeta came by to sit with us for awhile....

Another busy Saturday! This morning I had to step out early to get my hair done, while Brandon and the kids headed to Lowes for another Build and Grow event! Ah, summer–when we get piles and piles of sweet corn in our Produce Box, and the kids have Splash Day at Goddard School once a week. It’s so much fun for the kids, getting to go to school in their swimsuits–but as excited as they are, they can get distracted by the cat piano.
